Good News! Two Projects of Rongta Technology Officially Approved as Xiamen Municipal High-Tech Achievement Transformation Projects

Recently, the recognition results of Xiamen’s 2024 High-Tech Achievement Transformation Projects were officially announced. Two projects submitted by Rongta Technology (Xiamen) Group Co., Ltd. ( referred to as "Rongta Technology", stock code: 9881.HK) — the "Full-Scenario Intelligent Waybill Printer" and the "Intelligent Multifunctional Square Screen Scale" — have both been officially recognized as municipal-level high-tech achievement transformation projects after rigorous review and public announcement by the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology. This serves as a strong validation of the company's technological innovation capabilities and achievement transformation proficiency.

At present, Xiamen City is focusing on strengthening enterprises' independent innovation capabilities, accelerating the transformation of high-tech achievements into practical productivity, and promoting deep integration of the innovation chain and industrial chain. The two projects recognized for Rongta Technology directly address critical industry pain points.

Focusing on pain points in the logistics and e-commerce industry, this project breaks through technical bottlenecks such as single-scenario adaptability, weak environmental tolerance, and lack of cloud-based collaboration. It has achieved 100% self-sufficiency in core components and main models. Equipped with core technologies including intelligent paper detection, dual-mode Bluetooth, wide-temperature-range stable operation, and cloud-based remote management, it supports multi-size consumables, multi-system compatibility, and full-scenario printing needs. This not only breaks the foreign monopoly on high-end equipment and enhances the self-reliance of China’s logistics equipment industry chain, but also promotes the coordinated development of the local supply chain, reducing electronic waste by approximately 15 tons per year, delivering economic, industrial, and social benefits.

Targeting the digital transformation needs of new retail, this project overcomes challenges such as limited storage, low functional integration, data silos, and weak anti-cheating capabilities in traditional weighing instruments. The project has developed a proprietary algorithm for storing tens of thousands of products and a DMS remote management and control system, establishing a new national standard anti-cheating system that enables data traceability, remote upgrades, and full-chain data collection. The product is benchmarked against international advanced standards, helping retail terminals reduce costs and improve efficiency, saving 180 kWh of electricity per unit per year, driving local employment and industrial chain synergy, and aligning with Xiamen’s direction of promoting high-value technological achievements.

The simultaneous recognition of these two projects as high-tech achievement transformations not only affirms Rongta Technology’s commitment to independent innovation but also serves as an incentive for future progress.
